Been playing CS since Beta 5.4 and the first map I ever played was a custom
one in some bank. Pioneer of promoting the world of custom maps. Tried
making one once. Spent a month of hard work to get a series of crap looking
interconnecting rooms and corridors with doors that slid up into the
ceiling that took 6 hours to compile. Gave up with a new found respect for
the geezers who spend painstaking months making master pieces. Clan play
led to an understanding of how maps "work" and things that don't. So read
my reviews and if you don't like what I say, vote on it or email me.

JCL of W92 (a proposterously well known clan amongst the Jolt circles as it was only started for a laugh although we enjoy winning matches from time to time) a group of some of the best people I have met in a long time.
One time flat mate of another reviewer Viking.
Spend too much time trying without success to control clan members including our own dear Squiddles and to a lesser extent Cheechy and Nellie, other well known faces around the Jolt bar-B-Q.
Our sister clan, FLUX, houses some fellow reviewers in the form of Spitfire and ElDuderino.

I know what I am talking about when it comes to maps. I have made loads, released none and finished even less. :-)
Realistic maps are my cup of tea as they add to the whole immersion into the game although I like maps like Rats but only for small periods of time.

I have also been known to post in the Jolt forums spouting lots of informative facts. You may feel free to tell the world of [FLUX] and myself. I have been pulled into this reviewing mullarky after Squid got dirt on me at a party (honestly - I thought it was a woman!)
My personal taste in maps is really in the De section, but I like to play other maps too, to widen my knowledge of maps. I actually have nearly 3gb of maps alone in my CS folder. I generally go hunting for new maps around the world, in forums, mapping forums and the PODbot forums generally have some useful links for CS.
I play too much CS. I have, over christmas, set up an ICS network with my old P3 600 so I can play CS twice as much, or monitor the FLUX server while I am on another server.
