Rotating Door
Alrighty, in this Tutorial I will
demonstrate how to create a simple Rotating door with the use of the "Origin
Brush" I assume that you already
know the basic functions of Worldcraft.
For this demonstration I created a
squareish room with a wall cutting through the middle. In the middle of that
wall I cut a small hole
large enough for a door to fit in. Then created the door itself as seen in the
screenshot below.

Next we go into the texture browser
(Shift + a)

And type into the Filter "origin"

This green texture of what looks like a
face should pop up. Select it.

Create a "hinge" that stretches
down one side of the door.

Now, select the origin brush and the
door

Bring up the Entity Properties Box (ctrl
+ t) and type into the filter func_door_rotating

Attributes such as the doors Speed, Lip,
Delay before close and Sound can all be changed accordingly. Id recommend a
speed of about 80
Move Sound: Squeaky 1, Stop Sound: Snappy Metal Stop. But its up to you, so have
a fiddle.
Once the settings have been applied,
compile and go take a lookie at your door.
The End result:
