2-Stage Pipe
As seen in one of my other tutorials the two-stage
pipe, as I like to call it, looks quite nice. Here is what it looks like:

It looks better then your standard right-angle
pipe and now I am going to tell you how it is made.
Note: I work with the smallest grid setting
possible, remember that when looking at these screenshots.
Ok first of all set up 2 pipes like this (mine
were 16-sides):


Notice that there is an equal gap between the
pipes (as shown) and this is important. It can be any size but make it equal.
Next, clone one of the pipes and drag it down
so it lines up with the edge of the other pipe:

Then while selected, click it twice and lean
it over so it lines up with the other pipe.:

Ok leave that there for now and select the other
pipe and do exactly the same process so that they overlap:


Excellent, now we need the clip tool. What you
have to do now is clip across to where the pipes meet. Do it for both sides
like this:



Great! Now your pipes should look like they
bend:

Mess around with it and see what you come up
with.
